When senior catcher Symone Gary looks into the future of Cooper softball, she sees a forecast so bright it’s blinding.
Her only frustration is she won’t be around to experience it.
With a college career ahead of her at Southwest Assemblies of God University, Gary has her own softball future to look forward to. But after helping the Lady Cougars come within a game of their first district title since 1994, there’s a part of her that wishes she could stick around another year or two to build on that foundation.
