EULESS — A missed opportunity in the top of the sixth inning and a costly error in the bottom did in the Abilene High baseball team Tuesday in a 5-3 loss at Euless Trinity.
With the game tied at 3 after five innings, AHS loaded the bases with no outs in the sixth. But 1-2-3 double play allowed Trinity to escape the jam unscathed, and the Trojans scored two unearned runs in their half of the frame for what proved to be the game-winning runs.
