HERMLEIGH — With Stamford’s leading scorer and rebounder, Brooklyn Woodard, out with a knee injury, it was up to a group of four freshman to carry the load for the Lady Bulldogs in Monday’s 2A bi-district game with Forsan.
Unfortunately for Stamford, Forsan’s roster comes stocked with five seniors — which is five more than SHS could suit up with Woodard sidelined.
The difference in experience showed in a 48-37 Forsan win at Hermleigh High School.
