SNYDER — The Sweetwater girls basketball team was faced with a pretty dire postseason photo heading into Tuesday’s District 5-4A showdown against Snyder at Tiger Gym.
A win over the Lady Tigers would leave Sweetwater with an outside chance of forcing a seeding game next week against Snyder for second place.
A loss on Tuesday night had the potential of dropping Sweetwater to the fourth playoff seed.
The Lady Mustangs got the win they needed, knocking off Snyder 52-42 to set up a potentially crazy ending to the regular season, though the Lady Tigers still control their own destiny.
