Standing about 6-foot-3 in the eighth grade with a couple of parents who played college hoops, Wylie post Austin Brewer was born with basketball in his blood.
But it wasn’t until much later that the sport made its way to his heart.
In fact, it took until that eighth grade year for Brewer, now a 6-10 junior for the Bulldogs, to decide that basketball was for him — a decision that’s paid off for both him and his Wylie teammates since.
