A road-weary Wylie boys basketball team played just its seventh home game of the season Friday and took advantage of its home crowd in earning a 68-47 win over Wichita Falls High in a District 4-5A matchup at Bulldog Gym.
Outside of four games during the early December Catclaw Classic and a fifth against Abilene High, the Bulldogs had not played in Abilene since routing Midland Lee 60-39 on Dec. 1.
The Bulldogs’ last eight games had been played on the road.
