After falling 47-37 to Goldthwaite on Saturday, the No. 15 Eula girls basketball team needed to rebound for a Top-15 matchup Tuesday night against the surging Gorman Lady Panthers. To say the Lady Pirates were able to rebound is an understatement.
Behind a double-double performance from center Abby Matties and the hot hand of Kailey Fenton, Eula was able to overcome a slow start to defeat No. 12 Gorman 47-23.
